Little Granite Mountain, Arizona
Decided to go on a hike up Little Granite Mtn, Prescott, AZ and took my dog Ruby (was my sister but has adopted me as her hiking buddy).
It is typical in this area to hike around, on, and through large rock formations.

Trail behind me
There is no actual trail up Little Granite Mt as climbers must bushwhack their way up from this point. This trail is a common point to leave the trail and turn right toward mountain.
Hikers must cross over this fence several times on the way up
Another crossing point.

Another glimpse of Little Granite Mtn
Getting closer to the base of the mountain.
My plan is to hike this little ridge going through those pile of rocks to get to it.
The first rock pile of rocks. From a distant these rocks looked small but up close they were the size of cars.
One of the paths through the rock piles.
Getting closer to the base
Pic of the views from one of the rock piles.
Little closer to the base. We will cross over the fence again and walk up the ridge to the right of this pic.
Pic of the trail behind me. We walked up the ridge to the upper left of this pic. You can see part of the trail at a distance upper left of this pic.
Again more pics of the trail behind me as I gain elevation.
Making our way up.
We will make our way up the right of those rocks
Above the rocks and now up slanting to the right up there.
